Mutual Aid Fund
Our first initiative: a mutual aid fund for working-class individuals and families in Montreal.
The fund puts money directly in the hands of people who need it: no bureaucracy, no paternalistic conditions, no waiting on institutions that were never built for us.
How the fund works
70% of funds raised are reserved for Black working-class individuals and families in Montreal. The remaining 30% is available for non-Black working-class individuals and families in Montreal.
While our efforts will be primarily focused on the Black working-class populace of Montreal, our services will remain accessible to the general public.
How to apply
Applications are open. Requests for support are reviewed and distributed by community members, not by an outside institution.

Every dollar donated goes directly to working-class Montrealers covering rent, groceries, transit, and emergencies. Donate via e-transfer.
